Welcome to Balasore Mahila College
A premier women’s education institution established in the year 1982, started its functioning from Sabitri high school with +2 Arts streams, later in the year 1988. It incorporated with +3 Arts streams, thus becoming an important education hub at par with Govt. counterpart in Balasore. Balasore College, Gopalgaon is situated in the heart of Balasore, just 60 Mtrs away from Town Hall opposite of Fire Station, Balasore. This prestigious Non-Govt. aided College is presently educating 1100 girls students in the Red Cross building, Balasore. It was affiliated with Utkal University, Vani Vihar, Bhubaneswar in 1988. Right now, it is affiliated with Fakir Mohan University, Balasore. The course and curriculum of this educational institution follow NEP-2020 and State CBCS. This institution offers six major courses in Odia, History, Political Science, Psychology, Economics, and Home Science with respective minor courses along with two other minors Urdu and Sanskrit. Admission procedures to all the courses are done as per policies of the Govt. of Odisha.
