About NSS Wing
The NSS Wing of Balasore Mahila College, established in 1995, aims to develop the spirit of social service, leadership, and national integration among students. Through various community outreach programs, the unit encourages students to contribute to social welfare, cleanliness drives, literacy campaigns, and environmental protection, fostering a sense of responsibility and service to the nation.
Objective: –
To develop a sense of social and civic responsibility among students.
To promote community service and help students understand the needs of society.
To encourage leadership, teamwork, and discipline through voluntary service.
To create awareness about health, environment, and national integration.
To help students develop a balanced personality through community involvement and selfless service.

Block Level Consumer Awareness Workshop- 2026
Empowering Students Through Consumer Awareness A Block-Level Consumer Awareness Workshop was successfully conducted at the college premises with the objective of educating students and the public about consumer rights and responsibilities. The program was organized in collaboration with the Department of Consumer Welfare, Government of Odisha, with support from “May I Help You” NGO
Vigilance Awareness Programme
Balasore Mahila College observed a Vigilance Awareness Programme on 1st November 2025 to mark the occasion of Vigilance Awareness Week (27th October – 2nd November). The event
