A one-day Career Counselling Seminar was successfully organized today at Balasore Mahila College by the IQAC and Career Counselling Cell of the college, in collaboration with Brainware University, Kolkata. The seminar was conducted in two separate sessions—the first for +3 students and the second for +2 2nd year students.
The event witnessed an enthusiastic participation of *more than 250 students and staff members. T
he seminar was held under the chairmanship of Principal Dr. Umakanta Nayak, and was coordinated by Mr. Sushanta Kumar Mandal, Lecturer in Economics.
From Brainware University, experts Mr. Paul, Mr. Ghosh, Mr. Panda, along with their team, shared valuable insights on career opportunities, higher education options, and skill development pathways. Their engaging sessions helped students understand various career prospects in today’s competitive world.
Faculty members of the college also extended their full support, contributing to the smooth and effective conduct of the seminar. Many students expressed that the seminar was highly informative and motivating, helping them gain clarity on their future plans.
Principal Dr. Nayak appreciated the collaborative effort and emphasized the importance of such initiatives in guiding students towards a successful career. He expressed hope that more such programs would be organized in the future for the benefit of students.
